Eliza Thorn
With a warm and uninhibited voice, Eliza Thorn is a bright eyed and emergent force, cultivating a characteristic sound. Years of travel and busking have lent an element of grit to her tonality, honing a penchant for honest storytelling in the process.
Her debut album, Somebody New, is an homage to years of heartbreak, fever dream tales from the road, and emotional catharsis. Thorn does not hold back from sincere portrayals of self as she unfolds layers of her own vulnerability along the way; hero or villain – she gives us the full story. Alongside her producer and accomplished musician and songwriter, Mose Wilson, the pair made sure to include contemporary country’s star session players. Chris Scruggs, Dennis Crouch, JeffTaylor, and Nate Leath gracefully traverse through the history-rich sounds of both retro and modern Nashville, giving the album an innovative yet familiar sound.
Thorn tips a proverbial hat to her idols, spanning from Bob Wills to The Ronettes and Howlin’ Wolf. Her melodic, quirky, and evocative songwriting style cherishes traditional elements from legacy artists while proudly showcasing her fresh approach. At her core, she remains committed to maintaining an authentically playful presentation, both on and offstage, as her debut album takes Music City by storm. Somebody New was released independently on September 13th, 2024.
Sweet Meg
Sweet Megg is a genre-blending vocalist and songwriter, weaving country, blues and jazz into a sound that feels both timeless and fresh. Originally from NYC and now based in Nashville, she has traveled the world honing her craft everywhere from Parisian jazz clubs to Southern honky-tonks. She began her career performing in dingy bars, coffee shops, and DIY loft venues of the East Village and Brooklyn. At 22, she moved to Paris to study jazz vocals, gigging across the city before returning to New York to spend a decade as a full-time jazz vocalist, steeped in the traditions of early jazz and blues.
Her last studio album, *Never Been Home* (#23 on the Americana charts and #1 on the Alt-Country Radio charts), showcased her signature writing style through 12 eclectic original Americana songs. She is currently writing her next original album and, in the meantime, releasing a new jazz album, *Massive Negroni*.
In Nashville, she released two more albums blending jazz and country: My Window Faces the South (2022) and Bluer than Blue (2023). Megg toured globally with Postmodern Jukebox from 2021 to 2023, including a viral 1920s-style collaboration, and later led a Cirque du Soleil country music project. Megg released *Never Been Home* in 2025, blending classic influences with a modern edge, capturing both nostalgia and innovation. She is now set to release *Massive Negroni* in 2026 and will tour throughout American, the UK, and France.
